Welcome to the American University of Armenia and welcome to Yerevan!

AUA is the first stand-alone, US-accredited institution in the former Soviet Union that provides undergraduate and graduate education. Affiliated with the University of California, AUA offers a global education in Armenia.

Interested in an undergraduate program or pursuing a master’s degree? AUA offers 13 programs to provide you with the foundation and skills to become specialists and well-rounded individuals, who can think critically and creatively, learn independently, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively! The University also offers study abroad programs during the fall, spring, and/or summer semesters that combine strong academics with a life changing experience.
