CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN ON YOUR ADMISSION TO AUA!!!

Please read below for more information on how to confirm your seat.

STEP 1. Intent to Enroll Form (due no later than January 10, 2018)

ACCEPT YOUR OFFER OF ADMISSION to reserve your place for the Spring 2018 class by submitting the following items to the Office of Admissions by no later than January 10, 2018:

  • Intent to Enroll Form: You may access your Intent to Enroll Form directly from your Admission Letter or by logging into your account at im.aua.am. Make sure to complete the required information and submit the form by the January 10 deadline.
  • Non-Refundable Tuition Deposit: Pay the 50,000 AMD non-refundable tuition deposit directly from the Financial tab in your im.aua.am account. If you are not able to make the payment through the system, you may also pay through Bank Transfer or via the Easy Pay machine located at the American University of Armenia. If you make the payment through Bank Transfer or Easy Pay, send a scan of your receipt to im.grad@aua.am

If you do not submit your complete Intent to Enroll form and tuition deposit on time, we will assume that you do not plan to attend AUA and will not hold a seat for you in the incoming class.

DECLINE YOUR OFFER OF ADMISSION 
by submitting your Intent to Enroll Form
If you do not plan on attending AUA, we ask that you still complete the Intent to Enroll Form where you have the option to decline your offer of admission.

STEP 2. Official Proof of Undergraduate Studies and Final Transcript (due January 10, 2018)

Your admission to AUA is contingent upon submission of official diploma(s) and transcript(s) for all colleges and universities you attended. To submit these required documents, please bring both the official diploma(s) and transcript(s) with a copy to the Office of Admissions. After we verify the documents, we will immediately return the originals to you. If you do not submit your final diploma(s) and transcript(s), the Office of Admissions will rescind your offer of admission.

STEP 3. Financial Aid

TUITION ASSISTANCE (TA)
Applicants who submitted complete tuition assistance packages by the December 15 TA deadline date will receive notification of their TA status by email, up to twelve weeks after the deadline. Unfortunately, no new applications for Tuition Assistance will be accepted. Please visit finaid.aua.am/deadlines for more information.

INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS
International students may submit an application for International Scholarships by the December 8 deadline date. International scholarships may cover up to 50% of the cost of tuition and are merit-based.

STEP 4. Disability Support Services

AUA’s Center for Student Success is committed to provide student services and programs to support diverse learners.  Students with disabilities may obtain equal access to academic and programmatic services.  The Center for Student Success will assist students with disabilities in need of academic and programmatic accommodations as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and Section 504 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973.  If you are interested in learning more about the disability support services and/or to complete the disability self-identification form, please visit: http://studentsuccess.aua.am/disability-support-services/.

STEP 5. Housing

You can find more information about housing here. If you are a regional or international student and are interested in staying in dormitories, be sure to indicate so directly in your Intent to Enroll Form.

STEP 6. Visa Support

If you are an international student who will need assistance securing a visa to study in Armenia, let us know as soon as possible. Make sure to also indicate this directly on the Intent to Enroll Form. Feel free to also send additional questions about your upcoming move to intlstudents@aua.am.

STEP 7. Conditional Admission

If your Admission Status Letter indicates that you have been conditionally admitted, please carefully review the relevant paragraph in your letter again. If you are able to successfully complete the noted condition(s), then your status will be updated to full admission. If you do not successfully meet the condition, then you will be placed on probation and must achieve good academic standing per the Probation and Dismissal Policy at the end of your first semester or be subject to dismissal unless you meet your condition prior to enrollment.

STEP 8. Advising and Registration

After submitting your Intent to Enroll, we will transfer your file to the Office of the Registrar.

ADVISING: 
Your program will contact you to schedule advising. 
REGISTRATION: Once you have gone through advising, you may register for your courses through im.aua.am. Please review http://newstudent.aua.am/registration/ and http://registrar.aua.am/registering-for-courses/ for more information. If you have any questions regarding registration, please contact the program to which you have been admitted.
