Application Requirements

 

To confirm that your application is complete, make sure that you meet the following requirements while completing your application.

1. Application for Study Abroad/Summer program
Submit a complete application including all required supplements at admissions.aua.am/apply

2. English Language Proficiency
Present valid and official results confirming English language proficiency, typically through the TOEFL iBT or IELTS Academic exams. Native and near-native speakers are eligible for a waiver. For more information, please read the English Language Proficiency waiver policy here. To apply for a waiver, submit an Application for Waivers at admisssions.aua.am/apply.

3. Math Proficiency
Present results confirming math proficiency, typically through the SAT or ACT exams. We will consider scores of expired exams. Alternatively, you may confirm math proficiency through your performance in certain college math courses. If you do not have unofficial exam results from the SAT or ACT but have taken college math courses, please email [email protected] with a scan of your university transcript. We will then confirm whether your courses are sufficient proof of math proficiency.

4. Scan of photo and registration pages of your passport (or National ID for Armenian citizens)

6. Proof of Undergraduate Studies
Attach a PDF version of your transcript(s) for all colleges and universities you have attended or are currently attending. If you are in your first year of undergraduate studies, you will also need to upload a PDF version of your high school transcript(s). 

7. Personal Statement
Prepare a short, informative personal statement discussing why you are interested in AUA’s study abroad programs, what you hope to gain from the experience, and discuss how you envision the program to affect your academic and career goals. 

8. Non-refundable Application Fee of 20,000 AMD*

*Erasmus+ students are exempt from paying this fee.
