To confirm that your application for admission is complete, make sure that you meet the following requirements:
1) Application for Study Abroad
Submit a complete application including all required supplements as outlined in the application instructions. The Application for Study Abroad for Spring 2018 is currently available. If you plan on applying for the Fall 2018 semester, please note that the application will launch on February 12, 2018.
2) English Language Proficiency
Present valid and official results confirming English language proficiency typically through the TOEFL iBT (target score: 79*) or IELTS Academic (target score: 6.5*) exams. Native and near native speakers are eligible for a waiver. For more information, please read the English Language Proficiency waiver policy and application form here.
3) Math Proficiency
Present unofficial results confirming math proficiency typically through the SAT or ACT exams. We will consider scores of expired exams. Alternatively, you may confirm math proficiency through your performance in certain college math courses. If you do not have unofficial exam results from the SAT or ACT but have taken college math courses, please email StudyAbroad@aua.am with a scan of your unofficial university transcript.
4) Scan of photo and registration pages of your passport (or National ID for Armenian citizens)
5) A photo meeting the online application requirements
6) Proof of Undergraduate Studies
Attach a PDF version of your transcript(s) for all colleges and universities you have attended or are currently attending. If you are in your first year of undergraduate studies, please also upload a PDF version of your high school transcript(s).
7) Personal Statement
Prepare a short, informative personal statement discussing why you are interested in AUA’s study abroad programs, what you hope to gain from the experience, and discuss how you envision the program to affect your academic and career goals.
