Congratulations again on YOUR ACCEPTANCE TO AUA!
SUBMIT YOUR DECISION FORM
Submit your decision form (download here) letting us know you plan to take part in our summer program. The decision form is due two weeks after receipt of your acceptance letter. If we do not receive your decision form, we will assume you have made other summer plans.
DECLINE YOUR OFFER
If you do not plan on attending AUA, we still ask that you complete the Decision Form where you have the option to decline your offer.
REQUEST HOUSING SUPPORT (OPTIONAL)
AUA has a small dormitory located behind the university. The dormitory offers double rooms, as well as a shared kitchenette, bathrooms and showers on each floor at a cost of 45,000AMD per month per person. The first floor of the dormitory houses male students while the second floor our female students. Pending space availability, summer students may request accommodation in this dormitory.
However, should space be limited, then AUA will support you in finding an off-campus apartment near the University. Costs for an apartment in the summer range from $300 - $600/month. Please visit admissions.aua.am/housing for more information.
REQUEST VISA SUPPORT (OPTIONAL)
Most international students will be able to obtain a visa at the airport in Yerevan upon arrival for a cost of 15,000 AMD. This single-entry visa is valid for 120 days from your date of entry. If you are from a country that requires a letter of invitation, then make sure to email us at [email protected] as soon as possible so we can provide the necessary documentation. For more information about the requirements for your country of citizenship, visit Armenia’s Foreign Ministry website's visa page.
REGISTER FOR COURSES
During your application process, you communicated with the Office of Admissions regarding your courses of interest. Once we have a final list of approved courses (both by you and our committee), we will register you directly. Just a reminder to ensure you confirm your courses of interest with your home university advisor so that you can ultimately transfer the credits back.
STAY TUNED FOR INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR PRE-DEPARTURE ORIENTATION
Approximately one month prior to your visit, the Office of Admissions will schedule a one-on-one online orientation preparing you for your upcoming travels and studies in Armenia. During that call, we will discuss the academic calendar and how to register for courses, what to pack, logistics of your arrival, health insurance, visa and housing, tuition and other payments, on and off campus dining, student services, living in Armenia, and much more. You will also be able to raise any questions or concerns you may have regarding the Summer Program.
