The American University of Armenia (AUA) offers master’s degrees that develop critical analysis and depth of knowledge through advanced coursework, independent study, and research. AUA accepts applications from professionals who hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and from students in their final year of undergraduate studies who will graduate prior to the start of classes.

AUA offers ten graduate programs housed in four Colleges in the fields listed to the right. Visit the website of your preferred major to learn more about the program, goals and student learning outcomes, courses, faculty, alumni successes, and more.
AUA practices holistic admissions. We select students who have the skills and ability to succeed at AUA and ensure that AUA is well suited to their educational and career goals. Once you submit your application, it is screened for technical eligibility. If your application is complete and deemed eligible, the Academic Program Admissions and Graduate Admissions Committees conduct a thorough review of your application. Read more
You should carefully consider the financing of your education at AUA from the time of admission to the completion of your degree. Students in degree programs sign a contract with AUA upon enrollment, which establishes tuition for the contract duration. All fees are paid in Armenian Dram (AMD).
The Application for Fall 2022 is currently available at im.aua.am. To start your application, first, create and confirm your profile. Then select the “Submit an Application for Admission to Graduate Study” option. The system allows you to save your application and return to make edits at any time.

The Office of Admissions launches applications well before the deadline dates. We strongly encourage you to start your application as soon as possible and submit it well before the published deadline. Applications submitted after a deadline are moved to the next available deadline. If there is no remaining deadline, applications will NOT be considered.
* MSM applicants are not eligible for rolling admission as classes for the program commence during the summer term. All other applicants submitting complete applications by the rolling admission deadline are considered on a space-available basis.
MSE, ME IESM, and MS CIS program applicants with no corresponding educational background, if admitted, should take summer preparatory courses starting in June. We encourage these applicants are encouraged to apply by early or regular admissions. As for rolling applicants, approach the corresponding programs by the end of May to check if you need to take these courses and register, even if you have not yet submitted your application and have not received your admission notification. Admission to the American University of Armenia is competitive as there are more applicants than spaces available. If you are not offered admission to AUA, we welcome you to reapply in the future.
