AUA practices holistic admissions. We select students who have the skills and ability to succeed and to assure that AUA is well suited to their educational and career goals. Once you submit your application, it is screened for technical eligibility (refer to the application requirements for more information). If eligible, the Academic Program Admissions Committee conducts a thorough review of your application, which may include inviting you to an interview.
As admission to AUA is competitive, both the Academic Program Admissions and the Graduate Admissions Committees consider your academic and personal information, including academic credentials, professional experience, graduate entrance exam scores, the statement of purpose, recommendation letters, and the interview, if applicable.
Decisions made by the Graduate Admissions Committee cannot be appealed.
UPDATES FOR FALL 2021 CYCLE
If you are unable to take any required entrance exams due to the Coronavirus outbreak, check admissions.aua.am/graduate/application-requirements for information available alternatives under 2a and 2b.
The Office of Admissions will communicate with you regularly via email throughout the application process. Please make sure to check your email often. You’ll receive updates from us about upcoming application deadlines, your application submission, whether your application is complete or incomplete, and more. If you are eligible and submit a complete application, you will receive notification of your admission status up to twelve weeks after the deadline to which you applied.
More information is available in the Graduate Admissions Policies.
The target scores listed below are for informational purposes only. You should know that scoring above the targets does not guarantee your admission to AUA. On the other hand, by scoring less, you may be considered for conditional admission. Make sure to review our application requirements in detail to understand which exam(s) you must take or, alternatively, if you are eligible for a waiver.
