ANNUAL TUITION
Upon enrollment, students in degree programs sign a contract with AUA that establishes the tuition for the duration of the contract.
Students are classified as:
» Citizens of the Republic of Armenia
» Ethnic Armenians*
» Holders of Armenian Special Passport (commonly known as the 10-year visa); or
» International students

* Ethnic Armenians shall provide one of the following documents to confirm their ethnicity: 1. Birth Certificate, or 2. Baptism Certificate issued by a church organization. The certificates shall be attested (legalized) by the Armenian embassy/consulate in the country where the documents were issued or by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia through Consular legalization of documents.
** AUA requires proof of health insurance from students who do not hold Armenian citizenship. You may purchase health insurance from any provider. Alternatively, AUA offers support in securing coverage through the University's provider for an approximate cost of 10,000 AMD per month. If you are an international student physically in Armenia, you must demonstrate proof of valid health insurance during your studies at AUA in Armenia at the time of signing your Education Contract.
- MBA students may choose to complete the program within 18-22 months. The tuition for the entire program is 4,680,000 AMD for citizens of Armenia, ethnic Armenians, and Armenian Special Passport holders, and 9,480,000 AMD for international students.
- MSE is typically a Fall-Spring-Summer program. Tuition for the entire program is calculated at a factor of 1.25 of the annual tuition. The cost of tuition for the entire program is 2,437,500 AMD for citizens of Armenia, ethnic Armenians, and Armenian Special Passport holders and 4,937,500 AMD for international students.
- MSMA is typically a Summer-Fall-Spring-Summer program. Tuition for the entire program is calculated at a factor of 1.5 of the annual tuition. The cost of tuition for the entire program is 2,925,000 AMD for citizens of Armenia, ethnic Armenians, and Armenian Special Passport holders and 5,925,000 AMD for international students.
- MAHRSJ is typically a Fall-Spring-Summer-Fall program. Tuition for the entire program is calculated at a factor of 1.5 of the annual tuition. The cost of tuition for the entire program is 2,475,000 AMD for citizens of Armenia, ethnic Armenians, and Armenian special Passport holders and 5,475,000 AMD for international students.
- MPA/MAIRD are typically Fall-Spring-Summer-Fall programs. Tuition for the entire programs are calculated at a factor of 2.0 of the annual tuition. The cost of tuition for the entire programs are 3,300,000 AMD for citizens of Armenia, ethnic Armenians, and Armenian Special Passport holders and 7,300,000 AMD for international students.
- MATEFL is typically a Fall-Spring-Summer-Fall program. Tuition for the entire program is calculated at a factor of 1.5 of the annual tuition. The cost of tuition for the entire program is 2,475,000 AMD for citizens of Armenia, ethnic Armenians, and Armenian Special Passport holders and 5,475,000 AMD for international students.
- MAMJ is typically a Summer-Fall-Spring-Summer program. Tuition for the entire program is calculated at a factor of 2.0 of the annual tuition. The cost of tuition for the entire program is 3,300,000 AMD for citizens of Armenia, ethnic Armenians, and Armenian Special Passport holders and 7,300,000 AMD for international students.

FINANCIAL AID at AUA
Citizens of the Republic of Armenia, Ethnic Armenians* and Armenian Special Passport holders receive an automatic 2,000,000 AMD annual subsidy (2.400,000 AMD in case of MBA). In addition, the University offers need-based and merit-based tuition assistance for Armenian citizens that may discount the cost of education by up to an additional 90%.
International students are eligible for a merit-based scholarship that may cover up to 50% of the total cost of tuition.
