Interested in complementing your summer studies with Armenian language instruction? AUA’s Open Education office will offer tailored Eastern Armenian language instruction for summer participants. Both private and group sessions are available. Additional charges will apply.

Discover Armenia Educational Tours

Our summer program includes the “Discover Armenia” Educational Tour. Complementing your studies, these tours fully immerse yourself into Armenia’s evolution from ancient times to the present. Partake in dozens of excursions inside and outside of Yerevan. Visit churches, castles, and fortresses nestled in the mountains, valleys, and fields of this ancient land. Take in the colors, sounds, and flavors and feel at home in Armenia.

Room & Board

Yerevan offers an affordable lifestyle and infrastructure for university students. The average monthly living costs for foreign students in Yerevan are in the range of $600-$1,000 per month (in addition to tuition fees). You can choose to eat outside at any of the hundreds of cafes or restaurants in the city, order takeout through www.menu.am,  or take advantage of the on campus Aries Lunch Hall or Green Bean Cafe.

Summer students in need of housing may apply to stay in AUA's Student Residence Hall in Dzoragyugh, a short 20 minute walk from the University. The four story building will house up to 56 students in single and double occupancy rooms, each furnished with beds, side tables, desks, wardrobes, and a bathroom. The first floor will house a space for communal activities, a shared kitchen, and a study area. The Dzoragyugh residence will be fully accessible for disabled students. To learn more about AUA’s dormitory or alternative housing options, please visit http://admissions.aua.am/housing or email [email protected].
